The 62 can be pretty bright depending on your disposition and the era of the sax. The 82Z is a darker sound than the 62 and blows a lot freer than the SX90. The "best" embouchure for a jazz or rock musician may not be the same as the "best" embouchure for a musician who plays classical saxophone. They happen...once in a while. The Supreme comes in seven different finishes. This means that, in the hypothetical two-model system, it wouldn't be possible to buy, say, a new silver-plated Selmer horn without springing for a Supreme. For a tenor, that would mean close to $12k. I think Selmer would want to avoid such a costly constriction of choice.
