So your device could send and receive at once, like Ethernet. Not as good of course, but a lot better than otherwise. You only need a 2.5gig+ switch to take advantage of WiFi 6e speeds, you will get the benefits of the 6ghz band regardless.Ubiquiti appears to invest more energy into new products that no serious organization cares about over getting their core product offerings manufactured at scale to meet demand. For those interested in the Ubiquiti U6 Ent AP with 2.5 GbE, I confirmed that both units will transfer at those speeds. That said, only the MicroTik will report 2.5 GbE in the UI. According to a Ubiquiti employee's post on the Ubiquiti forums, the UCG has a 4-core Cortex-A53 processor; the UX also uses a Cortex-A53 but it only has two cores.
